Deep Learning

What is Deep Learning?

Deep Learning is a system that learns to recognize objects, speech, audio and can process natural language.

Background: it refers to a class of artificial neural networks that are composed of many processing layers. Thanks to the breakthroughs achieved by Geoffrey Hinton in the mid-2000s, we observe a steep increase in the performance and accuracy of the systems utilizing deep neural networks (DNNs). You will find such systems in your smartphone (i.e. personal assistants like Siri, Alexa or Cortana, virtual make-up apps with face recognition), self-driving cars detecting road signs ahead or software solutions for industry i.e. automatically detecting defects in products etc.

We understand the benefits and weaknesses of different algorithms, libraries, frameworks, as well as computing platforms. Our PhD experts continue researches seeking solutions to emerging problems and constantly work on finding new applications of deep learning. That helps us bring the latest achievements out of the academic sphere straight into business. When building new solutions, we combine ready-made components, results of the relevant academic researches, client’s business insights and our custom-built software.
